BlackRock to Bodie: August 4th & 5th
Our adventure will begin Reno. We'll head north up to the Black Rock Desert where the annual Burning Man festival is held. Once we reach the Black Rock Playa we'll had southeast towards Fallon, NV where we'll stay for the night.
From Fallon we'll head south towards Bodie, CA. Bodie is an amazing ghost town, "Bodie is an original mining town from the late 1800’s. What’s left today stands in a state of “arrested decay” and is maintained by the California State Parks System, who took over the town in 1962 to make it a State Historic Park." - www.bodie.com
From Bodie we'll make the short trip to the highway where our adventure will come to an end and we'll say our goodbyes.
