Our first Baja Siesta was so much fun and we can't wait to do it again in 2025! This years run will take us further south to Catavina and Gonzaga Bay. Checkout our 2024 video bl
Expedition: Baja Siesta will be similar to our other Baja adventures but with a more relaxed pace and focus on family fun. We will be visiting a beautiful winery in Valle de Guadalupe for lunch and wine tasting in addition to exploring some of the most beautiful off-road trails in the world.
This is the run for you if have been wanting to bring your kids or introduce your wife/girlriend to off-roading in Baja in a more relaxed setting than our Raptor runs.
This run is open to all makes and models with some basics requirements. A stock Bronco or Raptor will do just fine. You can find there requirements here: Baja Siesta Requirements
We can’t wait to share what many of us feel is the pinnacle of off-road experiences. Our focus for this event is to provide each participant the experience of a lifetime. This is much more than just plotting a course and chasing dust… our goal is to let each participant discover for themselves the bit of Baja magic that can only be experienced… not simply described. Our focus aims on ensuring a safe, relaxing, and fun run for all participants. We will guide you through in the safest manner possible while still allowing you to cut loose and experience true off-road freedom.
Expedition: Baja will begin in Friday 4/11 and end Tuesday 4/15.
Itinerary:
- Day 1: USA to Ensenada. Our day will begin north of the border near San Diego at 10am. We will pass out swag, decals, and conduct a detailed drivers meeting. We will then cross south for Ensenada. Along the way, we will stop by a beautiful winery in Valle de Guadalupe for lunch and wine tasting.
We will continue our cruise to Ensenada for the Estero Beach Resort where we will stay for the night. There will be no off-roading on day 1.
- Day 2: Ensenada to San Quintin
- Day 3: San Quintín to Catavina
We'll stop at the "Seal Hole" or officially called La Lobera. La Lobera is a magnificent sea lion crater where the ceiling collapsed exposing a 'secret beach' enjoyed by sea lions (lobos del mar).
- Day 4: Catavina to Gonzaga Bay
- Day 5: Gonzaga Bay to USA via Mexicali crossing

What’s REQUIRED (checklist will be performed stateside, trucks will be turned away if all items are not met):

- Expedition: Baja Siesta is not as fast paced as our Raptor runs. That said a solid suspension setup is highly required. We recommend a 2.5" diameter shock with reservoir or larger. A Jeep, Tacoma, or F250 with stock shocks would not be happy with the pace we carry. A stock Raptor or Bronco will be just fine.
